On August 17, 2026, SimulacraBench — a NeurIPS 2026 competition was launched: AI must model population groups from UN microdata. The organizers are Stanford's Digital Economy Lab and the STAIR research group (Stanford CS), together with UNHCR, UNICEF and the World Bank. The development phase runs until October 30; the finals and prizes — November 1–14, 2026. I, Boris Yarovoy , author of TRON — a technology for the short-term forecasting of earthquake magnitude, location and time — am assembling a volunteer team to take part in this competition. A strong result at NeurIPS means a leaderboard position, international visibility and, above all, partners and resources for testing and validating the TRON prototype — and, subsequently, for scaling the technology. Quake prediction panel to retain name despite 3/11 disaster setback

An earthquake prediction panel is not going to change its name even after its failure to predict the Great East Japan Earthquake in 2011, it has been learned. The Coordinating Committee for Earthquake Prediction (CCEP) on Feb. 17 approved a report filed by a working group within the committee, which stated that the CCEP will aim to improve the methods for earthquake prediction through research while retaining the entity's name. The working group was set up in 2012 out of regret for having failed to forecast the Great East Japan Earthquake. The working panel had been considering reviewing CCEP's roles but concluded that the entity should retain its current organization and function. In the wake of the March 11, 2011 quake disaster, many pointed to the difficulty of predicting temblors, leading to a move to review the CCEP's name. 去年の3月11日なにしてた VICTIMS MAY BE LESS 誰でも簡単に地震を予測したり、人の人間性や前世についてわかることができる方法をご存じだろうか。　「ダウジング」とは、通常は地下の水脈や鉱物の鉱脈などを、棒や振り子などを使って探し出す手法だ。だが、筆者がスピリチュアルダウジング（以後スピダウジング）と呼んでいるものは、簡単にいうと「守護霊（神・仏）との対話」だ。 　霊能者やシャーマンが、自分についている神仏などにお伺いを立てる際には、見えない存在からのメッセージを見たり聞いたりする能力が必要だが、そうではなく、ペンデュラム（振り子）を用いて答えを得るというものだ。そういう意味では、スピダウジングとは「道具を使ったチャネリング」といえるのかもしれない。 　今回は、スピダウジングのやり方と、それによって何がわかるのかを紹介したい。　筆者が、自分にダウジングの資質があると気付いたのは、今から25年ほど前のことだった。 　当時フーチパターンといって、専用の振り子を人の手のひらの上にかざすと、色々なパターンで振れることから、その振れ方によって、その人の人間性のパターンがわかるというもがあった。私は、それを研究する人からフーチパターンのやり方を教わり、遊び半分でやっていた。 　　以前、疑い深い友人が、筆者をテストした。与えられた課題は、伏せた器の中に10円玉を置き、そのコインの裏表を当てるというもので、10回やって9回当てることができたのを目の当たりにし、友人も信じるようになった。 　スピリチュアルダウジングは、自分1人の能力でさまざまなことがわかるのではなく、答えてくれる相手がいるからこそ成り立つのだろう。それは、一般に「守護霊」「指導霊」「大いなる自己」「ハイヤーセルフ」などと呼ばれる存在だ。誰にでも、そういう存在はついているだろう。 　ちなみに、沖縄のユタによると、筆者の後ろにはかつて諏訪大社で神官を勤めていた人や、更に後ろには諏訪大明神など色々な神仏がついているそうだ。スピダウジングができるのも、そういう存在の助けによるものかもしれない。 　スピダウジングができるかどうかは、霊的感受性の有無によるだろうが、「自分にもできるかも」と思う人は、試してみる価値はあるだろう。筆者がスピダウジングで答えを得られるのは、以下のようなことだ。 【スピダウジングでわかる...

去年の3月11日なにしてた VICTIMS MAY BE LESS ■カムチャツカ半島沖でM8.2地震 　5月24日14時45分頃（日本時間）、ロシアのカムチャツカ半島沖のオホーツク海を震源とするM8.2の地震が発生した。日本でも北海道と秋田県の一部で震度3の揺れを観測し、東日本の大部分や鹿児島県の南端まで震度1の有感地震を記録するという巨大地震だった。 　実は、この2週間ほど前から、筆者がTwitter上で主宰するプロジェクト「宏観レンジャー」（@kokanranger）に、地震の“前兆”を訴える多くの人からの報告が集まっていたので、これまでの研究と併せて紹介。誰でもできる、簡単な地震の予知・予測方法を紹介しよう。 1、眠気の異常 　特に目についたのが、異様な睡魔に襲われているという報告だ。実は筆者も、1週間以上前から朝から午後にかけて、ひどい眠気に襲われて、仕事にならない日が続いていた。自分の経験からいうと、このような異様な眠気は、海外など遠方で起きる大規模地震に対応している場合が多いようだ。 　このことを宏観レンジャー上でツイートすると、自分も同様だったという人が何人も現れた。その中では、2日前頃から異常に眠かったという報告が目立っていた。地震前に地下の岩石破壊によって発生するパルス電磁波と関係があるのかもしれない。 2、電気機器のリモコンの異常 　地震前に発生するパルス電磁波によって、「TV」「エアコン」「照明」「車」などのリモコンの動作異常が起きる。1995年の阪神・淡路大震災の場合、2カ月前から、神戸の電気屋にリモコンの修理依頼が多くなり、10日前から急増したという。東日本大震災の数日前には、宮城県で、車のロックのリモコンが効きずらかったという。 　特に、エアコンなど、リモコンによって電源ON/OFFする機器の場合、地震の前に勝手にスイッチが入ったりすることもあるという。電話やインターフォンも、誤動作で同様の現象が起こる。阪神・淡路大震災の前日では、突然クーラーのスイッチが勝手に入ったという報告も。また、地震前にクーラーがゴトゴトと音を立てることもある。 3、電気機器の電源の異常 　リモコンと似ているが、電気機器本体のスイッチも勝手に入ることがあるという。また、ラジオには雑音が入りやすくり、特に、FMよりもAMの方が起きやすいそうだ。テレビの場合、映像が...
